Lawrence County YMCA Trunk or Treat 2022!
On Sunday, October 30th from 1-4pm, the Lawrence County YMCA teamed up with over 50 local businesses and organizations to host a Trunk or Treat for hundreds of kids! There was more than enough candy to go around and the laughter echoed throughout the entirety of the county!
Everyone was welcome to the event and they turned out in HUGE numbers! We had over 600 kids make their way through our epic Trunk or Treat lineup! We closed down the street in front of our downtown facility and utilized our parking lot to line up cars, fire trucks, vans, RVs, tents, motorcycles, and more that were spookily decorated for the occasion!
Kids lined up in their Halloween costumes with little buckets and bags in hand to get candy from organizations such as Arise, Cray Youth & Family Services, the Children’s Advocacy Center, Highmark Whole Care, Comfort Canines, New Castle Nutrition, Grace United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, Lawrence County Drug & Alcohol, and the New Castle Fire Department – just to name a few!
